How time flies!
What has Science Made Simple been doing for the past 21 years?
Rather a lot it seems… beginning back in the early 2000s, our founding Director Wendy Sadler started Science Made Simple with just one show – Music to Your Ears. The show fitted into the boot of her beat-up old Hyundai and toured schools in south Wales.
Wendy’s passion for physics and music – truly understanding the world around her and a deep belief that everybody should experience the intrigue and excitement of STEM subjects – set Wendy and SMS off on an excellent footing. Since those early days, SMS has gone from strength to strength.

We like to get our inspiration wherever we can. Working with people all over the world gives us some great perspectives on our work. We’re also very friendly, and love to meet new audiences!
Learning about the way the world works has so much to offer all of us – it’s not just the delight of curiosity satisfied, or the fun of finding things out – science changes our perspective on the world and provides the critical framework that citizens need to make everyday decisions. Science Made Simple does a great job of sharing this message.
