This one-day course introduces you to improvisation skills and use of humour – designed to encourage engagement with alternative adult audiences.

Emphasis is on helping to tease out and share the joy and the quirky that can be found in research, and your individual styles are respected, explored and nurtured.

With a combination of improvisational comedy games and input from experts in the use of humour to enhance audience engagement, you will understand the theories of different types of humour, when they can be useful, when they should be avoided and how they can provide a powerful way to deliver a message.
