Machinery can get really hot in space. I design and test systems to cool things down for scientific projects on Earth and in space, mainly satellites.

Working on something that will one day go into space is the thing I find amazing about my job. When problems come up, I have to be open-minded and accept the fact that there may be many possible solutions. I need to be creative and come up with unique solutions and designs. I am a good communicator, which means I can clearly explain my thoughts and ideas.
